The M.A. theology programme at the Dominican Institute is run in affiliation with the Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
The M.A. Theology programme comprises full-time professors who possess different theological competencies and distin- guished visiting professors.
The faculty is actively involved in research and has published extensively. Many are nationally or internationally known experts in their field.
The programme offers students:
- a sound theological and spiritual formation.
- research into the sources of the Christian tradition through critical reading and appreciation of biblical, patristic, medieval and contemporary theological currents
- knowledge of the history, interpretation, explanation and application of Christian doctrines within a Nigerian and African cultural and intellectual milieu
- ability to address theological and pastoral issues.
