The Dominican Institute,
Ibadan, is a tertiary institution owned by the Nigerian
Province of the Order of Friars Preachers, a Catholic
Religious Order founded by St. Dominic de Guzman in
1216 to promote intellectual and religious formation
in view of reform at every level of society.
Situated on a quiet and pleasant hill
in the educational layout adjacent to Africa's premier
University of Ibadan, the Institute is blessed with
a serene environment and a well-stocked library which
permits students and lecturers to address African and
Nigerian religious and social questions. |
