Duration
The Dominican Institute offers a B.A. (Hons.) in Philosophy in four years, or three years in case of direct entry.

Admission Requirements
For the four year course, candidates must have 5 General Certificate of Education (GCE) credits at "ordinary" level, including English Language. For direct entry, University of Ibadan regulations shall apply.

Minimum Degree Requirements
Candidates for the B.A. single honours in Philosophy are required to pass the 9 units (U) of General Studies (GES) courses and all the compulsory courses in philosophy (except 100 level courses for direct entry students). They also must take, but not necessarily pass, all required courses.



>> B.A. COMBINED HONOURS PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGIOUS STUDIES

Duration and Focus
The Dominican Institute may offer a combined honours B.A. in Philosophy and Religious Studies in four years.

Admission Requirements
For the four year course, candidates must have 5 credits at "ordinary" level, including English Language. For direct entry, U.I. regulations shall apply.

Minimum Degree Requirements
For graduation candidates for the B.A. in Philosophy/Religious Studies are required to pass the 9 units of General Studies (GES) and the compulsory courses in Philosophy and Religious Studies (RES or RCS), except for 100 level courses in the case of direct entry students. They must also take, but not necessarily pass, all the required courses and enough internal and external units.
